I am a children’s book author who lives in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I have lived here my whole life and love the mix of being close to town while having the countryside on my doorstep.

I went to Cardiff University to study Business Management and after I graduated in 2014 I started working full-time for my family business – The Local Answer magazine. I have progressed from being responsible for increasing the volume of editorial in the magazine to managing the editorial, production, sales and marketing elements of the business alongside my dad. I have great experience in writing, editing, proof reading and formating, and am grateful to have been able to work for the family business, as it has given me the tools and knowledge to make the book writing process that little bit easier.

I have loved horses from a young age and started lessons when I was six years old. Though I had dreamt of owning my own pony, it wasn’t until 2016 when I was 23 that I finally bought my best pal, Dave. I had fallen completely in love with him when he first arrived at Cotswold Riding for the Disabled in 2013, and spent the next few years saving up to buy him.

Little did I know that Dave would become the inspiration for a series of children’s picture books, starting with the first – Dave and Darcy Go to the Beach – which I published in April 2020. I can’t wait to share more of my stories with the world.
